 Spindletop Refuge is dedicated
to the successful rehabilitation and rehoming of homeless, abused and
neglected dogs for over eighteen years, specializing in the APBT and
AST. Spindletop will and does, also help other breeds. Spindletop is
located in Texas but helps dogs from all over the country. All dogs are
spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and crate/obedience
trained. To support these dogs we have fundraisers and companies that
allow is to be affiliates and this raise monies so desperately needed

One of our very first
Fundraisers was done by a talented lady named Christine Head. She did a
portrait of Kip the court ordered dog from PA that spent 18 months in
solitary confinement before coming to Spindletop. Christine started me
(Karen) on my adventure back into Art.

A fun project that we
started was our CafePress store. We know people that purchase from
CafePress and they are pleased with the quality. I (Karen) frequently
buy the glassware and apparel for my kids and myself.. The Holiday
ornaments are wonderfull as well. Through CafePress we are thrilled to
announce the Affiliate Program. This allows you to make money showing
your support of Spindletop on your website, Blog, even message board
postings and email signatures. Every time a sale is made from a link of
yours, you get a commission.

We
also started pairing up
with Pounds for Paws. This donates a high percentage of the profits
directly to Spindletop. Gourmet Coffee is always a nice touch, don't
you think? I personally (Karen) was very impressed when I called the
President of the parent company. He was wonderful to deal with and very
