All of the orphans are crate and house trained, basic obedience, vaccinated, neutered/spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative. All of our orphans have been thoroughly temperament tested and are great ambassadors for the breeds!
Please make note: We do not adopt into same gender homes, Ex: If you have a female dog at home only male dogs will be available to you for adoption and vice versa.

My Pit Pal is J. Reilly : ) Seven year old female, good with older male dogs, NO cats. I have a history, I lost my human and it took me a long time to get over losing him. I loved him so much. I waited to go back to him but his family would not let me. Not that I did anythng wrong, nothing at all, it was acts of nature beyond his control. The refuge was finally allowed to look for a new home for me and I really am looking for a new family to call my own again. I am a very good girl, with good manners and pretty much do NO wrong. Oh wait, sorry to sound so down, I love to play ball and really, really LOVE to go for LONG walks and like Ms. Venus, I wag my tail a LOT! Like everyone of the orphans keeps saying, they are the best, well I "am" the best!

My Pit Pal is W Jenkins : ) Eight to Nine year old female. Very loving and obedient. She does fine with male dogs. This girl is an absolute lover and strives to do no wrong. She is healthy and has many years to bring her new family happiness. She has enduring qualities of being a true lady. Your family deserves this special girl.
