All of the orphans are crate and house trained, basic obedience, vaccinated, neutered/spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative. All of our orphans have been thoroughly temperament tested and are great ambassadors for the breeds!
Please make note: We do not adopt into same gender homes, Ex: If you have a female dog at home only male dogs will be available to you for adoption and vice versa.

My Pit Pit Pal is L Buchanan : ) Well, I am a year old now so I had to move to the big boys page. Crate and house trained. Doing well on obedience, very outgoing guy! Does good with cats and other animals. He is a very fast learner and would be an excellent companion for anything you will ask of him. These pictures do NOT do this boy justice, he is just adorable!! This is Bug speaking here! Those other dogs that are talking me down about puppy things and how jealous they are about how cute I am, well, that is because, they see me every day, they KNOW how cute I am and how SMART I am. Ask Jules, the Miss Priss around here (sorry Jules, I mean that in the best way), she even likes me, which says a LOT! (she is going to the Male dog page and straighten you guys UP!) Trust me, if Jules likes me, I am the "diamond in the ruff", she does not even like "Julius", that is why she won't let his picture on the site!! So what does that say for me?? I am crate and house trained, most basic obedience, pretty chilled out boy. What more could you want out of a puppy? And Bayne says he is more mature, whatever!! Oh wait, I LOVE to cuddle, I know everyone else says that too, but "I" LOVE IT!!! Update: Now I hear the "girls" are talking about me too! It is a conspiracy, I am cute, smart, have big ears, the whole nine yards AND I have BIG feet, so there...that has to mean something in the "big brain" theory they are talking about on the girl's page! Jules....back me UP!! : )

My Pit Pal is W Jenkins : ) Five year old male. Does good with other dogs and animals. I have been a house dog most of my life and really don't understand why I am here but I am making the best of it. I LOVE it here but want a family to call my own. I am very gentle and loving, especially with children. I am quite the obedient guy and you will not have to work with me like those puppies everyone wants! I know there is a family out there that deserves me, could it be yours? Here is a big pit slurp from ME!

My Pit Pal is Shelley Haymon : ) I look serious but I am not! I am a happy go lucky boy and love everyone and every thing. I don't like confrontations and I am just happy doing what ever it is you are doing. A lot of people have come to look at me but decide on another orphan, I don't know why. I hear that it is my age, 5 yrs, darn, that isn't OLD! I keep hearing that I deserve a home and everyone here feels bad for me when another family turns me down, although I get LOTS of treats and bones when that happens. : ) I am great with cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, goats, horses, cows, pigs, fish, you name it! What more could you want in a guy?? Oh, and by they way, talk about a cuddle boy, unlike little Bug on the puppy page, oh yea, he is cute, I SEE him, but you have to go through that whole puppy thing (been there, done that), I am more mature than him, not as cute, but he won't be either when he becomes mature and handsome like me! But like all the orphans here, cuddling is our specialty! (Disclaimer, not slamming the "Bug", he deserves a great home like I do, it is just a little fun we have around here)

My Pit Pal is K. Finley : ) Five year old male, good with dogs, NO CATS! Well, back in the day, they said that prematurely graying was a sign of dignity and wisdom. Adopters that come to see me don't even give me a second glance, well, I am here to tell you, Grand Paw is FAR beyond rounding the tracks. I am a outgoing, a "want to do" everything boy. I am very fit and ready to work on agility, tracking, you name it. I am also into my dog bed, blankets and any pillows you want to throw my way. Those guys up above me, yea, they have nothing on me, I am your new devoted famliy member that you deserve to welcome to your home.

My Pit Pal is K Cooke : ) Two year old male, good with females that are submissive. Very outgoing and is over eager to please you. Would make a great agility prospect. They call me the "Manny Man", kinda sounds like a boxer to me, but what do I know, I am just a dog. I am happy dog, see my SMILE, so you can call me whatever you want! Well, as long as it is a nice thing you are calling me. I am what they are calling a traditional bulldog. I am very focused on what you ask of me, I am affectionate, loyal and driven. You make it a game, I will learn anything......hang gliding, parachuting, snow boarding, the sky is the limit. Oh, don't forget the fluffy bed, toys and hour (make that two hours) long tummy rub when I am done with everything you are to chicken to do! Oh, and you guys up there, quit picking on the "Bug""!

My Pit Pal is S Hephner : ) Four year old male, smaller, about 50#. Good with female dogs, NO cats. Is it my ear that no one likes? Seriously, it does not stand up like that 24/7, only when they are taking pictures or when I am interested in something I am looking at! I know you think I am a dork, but far from it. When something gets your interest, I wouldn't make fun of you and YOUR expressions. With that said, even with the ear thing, I am a very cute boy, no, I am exceptionally cute. I have been deemed a "lineage" dog, don't know what that means, ask the humans for that one, but it makes me pretty special. What you think I might lack in cosmetics (boy some folks are shallow), I make up with charm and brains. I would love to be one of those "dock dogs", that is the coolest thing I have ever seen and I would kick some "dock dog" butt! Maybe the ear would give me a little more air support as well, kinda like a "sail". : ) See, you are getting it, there are lots of things this ear is good for! So get past it, I am a good looking boy, looking for a home that deserves me and the love I want to give you.
